Suicidal Women

A study by a Saudi academic of domestic violence against Saudi women in Reyad states that there are 16 suicide attempts by women per month. The study attribute these attempts to violence against women in the family. (domestic violence is a euphemism, isn't it? it "tames" violence and domesticate it. "Family violence is also a euphemsim: it's spreading the guilt instead of naming the one who is usually responsible: the man).
